Mr. Albert Isaac Hartman, 90, of the Mozer community, Upper Tract, WV passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Harrisonburg Health and Rehabilitation Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He was born February 28, 1924 at Landes, WV and was the son of the late Charles Edward Hartman and Mary Whetzel Hartman. He worked as a feed truck driver for 23 years for Dayton Feed/Procal, retiring in 1986, and was a member of South Mill Creek Church of the Brethren. On September 5, 1950, he married Gertrude Miller Hartman who preceded him in death on August 30, 1992. He is survived by - One daughter - Carolyn Kines and her husband, Steve of Port Republic, VA One son - Charles Lee Hartman and his wife, Marilyn of Timberville, VA Three sisters - Marie Cook and her husband, Luther of Harrisonburg, VA Ruth Gibbs of Timberville, VA Thelma Harman of Harrisonburg, VA One brother - Earl Hartman and his wife, Edith of Dayton, VA Four grandchildren - Thomas Hartman, Joey Hartman, Crystal Huffman and Stephanie Breeden And seven great-grandchildren - Carley Hartman, Olivia Hartman, Ethan Hartman, Raleigh Hartman, Khayla Phillips, Emma Huffman and Rebekah Breeden Preceding him in death were one brother, Glen Hartman; five sisters - Treva Halterman, Neva Ratliff, Arbutus Swick, Bertha Alexander and Beulah Crites and one great-granddaughter - Abigail Breeden Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 28, 2014 at South Mill Creek Church of the Brethren with Rev. Stanley Kile officiating. Interment will be at Kline Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 27 at Kimble Funeral Home, 80 South Main Street, Franklin, West Virginia.
